Atlanta's Night Life

The Atlanta I used to know was vibrant, at one point in time the nightlife was booming, but its quite the opposite now. What's going on? Those of us that have been in Atlanta for more than 5yrs, know that Atlanta's nightlife has diminished to almost nothing. Not much to do Monday through Wednesday, a few over rated bars and clubs for the weekend. Definately, not what it used to be. Clubs/bars close at 2am now. Buckhead used to be the party city with a variety of clubs, now we got complaining home owners that don't like the noise, and the late night partying. Isn't that why they moved there in the first place, wanting to be as close as possible to the action?

What happened to American Pie off of Roswell rd? Any good clubs/bars in Atlanta? Am I missing something?

  1. I must say things have changed in the ATL, I moved here 7 yrs ago and it was on and poppin!!! Buckhead Pharr road (the whole strip) Club Esso (the original spot with 3 levels, one of my favorites), Club 112 (the after party club, till 7AM), Miraje, Velvet Room (original spot), Shark Bar, The Warehouse, Ryan Cameron comedy nights, and so on! All the celebrities hosted parties on any given night. As matter fact, my sisters and I partied 7 days a week with no problem. I remember leaving Buckhead at 4am headed to Club 112 until 7am! On top of that, there was always some type of underground scene for hip hop heads to go. If anyone knows something I don't... get at me cuz I definately agree with jonnblogs
